The Bering Truck Corporation is a former United States producer and provider of trucks. The business was a part of Bering Motors.

History

Started and established in 1997 in Front Royal, VA, Bering Truck was the first new American truck manufacturer and provider established in over 70 years. In partnership with Hyundai Motor Company of Korea, three groups of trucks were started to the US marketplace. Bering was compelled to cease operations in 2001 after its exclusive provider entered into a connection with DaimlerChrysler and terminated the Bering agreements. A National antitrust case filed by Bering against DaimlerChrysler and Hyundai was settled out of court in 2006.
