Ford names new Europe manufacturing boss
LONDON -- Ford has boosted business veteran Linda money to head its European production operations in a re-shuffle of senior administration.
The adjustments will even find Ford's European sales chef, Peter Fleet, become the firm's Asia-Pacific head of marketing.
Cash will simply take up her new place on Jan. 1 after present European production head, Jeff Wood, retires, Ford stated in a statement on Tuesday.
Wood, 55, did for Ford for 30 years and was manager of manufacturing for the firm's the United States automobile construction operations before taking on the European place in March 2012.
Cash, 5 3, h as been Ford of Europe's manager of automobile functions since March 2015.
Cash has invested Cash's whole career with Ford. Cash joined the automaker in 1984 as an industrial engineer at Ford's assembly plant in Atlanta in the U.S.
Ford said money has wide-ranging expertise in lean production, having served as plant manager of the firm's Michigan Truck factory, among other senior places in production.
Cash was named among the leading girls in the automotive industry by Automotive News, a sister publication of Automotive News Europe.
Fleet, 4-8, will begin his Asia-Pacific revenue and advertising job on Dec. 1. Fleet's alternative in Europe is going to function as the topic of a future statement, Ford stated.
