Hamilton suffered Monaco car crash
Lewis Hamilton has disclosed a car accident played a part in his journey delay ahead of the weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix.
Hamilton missed a planned press conference in Brazil yesterday, resulting in rumors which he may well not race at all this week end.
The Mercedes group moved to immediately quash any conjecture he will not take part in the race, affirming to Motorsport.com that Hamilton's journey had only been delayed by a day due to physician's orders.
Hamilton himself has now disclosed more details in regards to the problem, using to social media to describe that it had been a car accident in Monaco that led to physicians keeping him in Europe for an additional day.
"I have not been nicely having a temperature but I also had a-road incident in Monaco on Monday evening," Hamilton wrote on an Instagram post.
"Whilst eventually it's nobody's business, you'll find individuals understanding my place that may make an effort to benefit from the problem and create a fast buck. Not a problem.
"Nobody was hurt, which can be the main matter. However, the automobile was clearly damaged and I produced quite light contact using a standing vehicle.
"Speaking together with the staff and my physician, we decided collectively that it was most useful for me to rest in the home and depart the next day.
"But I'm feeling better and am now boarding the airplane to Brazil.
"Nevertheless, I will be telling you because I believe we all should take responsibility for our activities. Errors occur to all of US but what is significant is that we discover from them-and grow." Read Source
