Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander Concept Can Get Away from It All—and Stay Away
The Overland is the penultimate trimming amount for the Grand Cherokee, slotting below the Summit. (Cost-wise, both of these live in the darkness of the SRT, but that is another creature entirely.) The Overlander is a custom Grand Cherokee theory which is a part of Jeep's lineup because of this year's Easter Jeep Safari.
That latter is tweaked to give a one-inch-greater ride height while still enabling the entire range of movement. A steeper approach angle is enabled by a custom front fascia, while the SRT hood is only there to look trendy. To help improve the Overlander's offroad chops, Jeep has fitted the theory with a 9000-pound winch, stone rails, skid plates, and tow hooks. Cables running from your roofing to the hood are "limb risers," meant to go sweep out of the way.
