Last weekend, there was the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where the McLaren P1 GTR was introduced. You should believe us that novelty will be launched in the extremely limited edition.
The carmaker makes its supercar more powerful, faster and lighter to improve performance. Now the P1 GTR’s output was boosted from 903 to 986 horsepower. Moreover, the novelty gets the new wider track, fixed back wing and special race slick tires as well.
The auto manufacturer has decided to wear the P1 GTR in standard 19-inch wheels and Pirelli tires. Certainly, what may be better?
Besides, the 3.8-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, McLaren also used the titanium allow for the exhaust pipes to make “much more raucous sound” –the carmaker explained.
In spite of the automaker borrows the name for the novelty from the legend F1 GTR, the racecar won in 1995 at the 24 Le Mans, the McLaren manufacturer has not planned to build a racecar version of the P1 yet.
