Jaguar plans to stop the XK production

The Jaguar XK has been popular with customers for years; however, this model has to make way for its new replacement –the F-Type.
That is the main reason why the XK will disappear in the dealer rooms by the end of this year.
According to the official statement, the auto manufacturer plans to stop production of the XK in summer of this year and concentrate at developing and launching models, which are currently more interesting for customers, for example, the XE.
This year the carmaker could sell only 4,000 XK models in spite of reducing the selling of the F-Type cars.
The XK emphasizes performance and luxury while the F-Type is a really sports car, which has more potential customers than the new XK.
