This year Volkswagen will introduce its new Jetta and Golf Sport Wagen concept in New York.
We know that the latest time Volkswagen updated its Jetta model three years ago. Then there was a hybrid version and the engine lineup was expanded as well.
Currently, the auto manufacturer is ready to present its upgraded Jetta at the auto show in New York, which opens its doors this Wednesday.
In addition, there will be the latest Golf Sport Wagen concept presented at the show too. The novelty is expected to come on the market as a model of 2015.
The updated Jetta’s exterior gets a new grille, bumpers, and LED daytime running lights. The changes in the interior include a new trim and design accents, innovative technologies and systems such as blind spots assist, the frontal collusion warning system, traffic warning assist and parking distance control.
The new Jetta will be equipped with the 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel powertrain, which produces the power of 150 horsepower. this model is available in diesel and hybrid versions. The gearbox is offered in manual, automatic and DSG with dual-clutch variants.
The Golf Sport Wagen concept will get the same powertrains as the new Jetta equipped. Both updated models are based on the platform MQB of the Golf family.
