Audi previewed its 2015 A7 model
The Audi A7 got some changes but no significant in the exterior. The lights got most obvious changes in design that became more angular in front, which was quite similar to the latest Audi 8 and the TT. The standard LED lights of the brand’s Matrix technology.
The interior trim includes new colors and materials such as Valcona leather and the walnut Beaufort wood as well.
The features include modern technologies and systems such as the brand’s MMI interface, in-car Internet connection with LTE. The premium audio system is the Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The assistance includes the stop/go traffic crawling; adaptive cruise control, side and active lane assist systems, updated night vision.
The brand’s engineers boosted engines; currently the supercharged V6 produces the power of 310 horsepower and the TDI V6 has the output of 240 horsepower. We would like to remind that the newest S7 model is equipped with the V8 twin turbo engine producing the power of 450 horsepower.
According to the carmaker, gasoline powertrains will get the standard seven-speed S-tronic gearbox with dual-clutch while the diesel units will work with eight-speed automatic gearbox.
This renewed version of the A7 model is planned to come on sale to the European auto market this summer. The U.S. customers will see this novelty by the upcoming year.
Unfortunately, there is no confirmed information about the updated S7; however, it is most likely that it will be introduced during the same period as the A7.
