Audi to preview electric crossover in Frankfurt?

A fresh report finds Audi will preview its forthcoming electrical crossover using a thinly-veiled theory which is presented next fall in the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Constructed to the same MLB system as the new Q-7, the yet-unnamed theory will usher in the layout language which will affect all the EVs that Audi will start during the following couple of years. Official details are being held under wraps for for now, however an anonymous Audi representative told business trade journal Automotive News the crossover is likely to become more aerodynamic compared to the firm's present batch of offroaders. The generation edition of the theory is planned to land in showrooms in early 2018 as a 2019 design. Placed in the top of the Audi line, it is going to use technology gleaned in the R8 etron to provide an all electric driving range of more than 300 300 miles. The cross over will start using a battery powered drive-train so that you can take on the Tesla Model X, but plug in hybrid and hydrogen-driven versions could join up with the line by the conclusion of the decade.
German media outlets report the yet-unnamed crossover will carry a foundation cost of at least $100,000. Thatis a towering amount, but Audi calls it could sell at least 10,000 components a year worldwide.
