BENTLEY is developing more powerful Continental Supersports
Bentley engineers are currently developing a more powerful version of the Continental Supersports, which will be officially presented next year. It is based on the 2009 model, and equipped with the twin-turbo engine W12 that produces 650 hp (485 kW).
In addition to the extra horsepower, the new model will lose weight a little bit due to using of composite materials and carbon fiber, and the simplification of the cabin. No on has known yet what it is meant. But, probably, it may be putting away of rear seats. The cabin will be easier, the body more easily, but the suspension will be rigid. There will be also the optimization of the braking system and a gearbox. As a result, when the novelty will be on sale next year, it will take place between Speed and GT3.
