BMW will equip its cars with a four-wheel-drive option

Several years ago, the well-known auto manufacturer BMW launched turbocharged crossovers, which are fuel economic and have the start/stop system. There were popular models of “M”: the X6 M DUO, the X5 M and M5.
Recently, the BMW brand has not planned to produce all-wheel-drive cars but the reason to meet the competition to push the carmaker to start launching AWD vehicles. That is why; BMW has begun upgrading its M range of models with the AWD feature.
According to some information the AWD vehicles in the U.S. market is 75 percent. The BMW Company plans to equip its cars with the all-wheel-drive option only beginning from successors of M 5 and M 6 models.
The AWD models of 5-series are expected to be come on the market by 2016, while the M 6 cars will get the all-wheel-drive option much later.
The BMW’s representative announced that the auto manufacturer is going to use all-wheel-drive as an option but cars such as M 3, M 4 will not be equipped with, and they will stay only rear-wheel-drive models.
The AWD models will increase sales of the BMW cars, especially where is the frozen roads in winter. Besides, the carmaker plans to improve the safety for unexperienced drivers.
