Kia Soul has gotten updates for next year
We would like to remind you that the Soul was totally redesigned for this model year; however, the carmaker has made decision to upgrade the car more.
Next year updates include additional technical features inside a car such as the UVO 1 eService pack, Driving score, Curfew Alert, speed alert and Geo-fencing.
The Kia carmaker offers some applications like Yelp, iHeart radio and Pandora, which are available to download from the Google play and iTunes.
Moreover, the updated Soul gets new exterior, body’s color and the interior design including leather Nappa seats and accents.
Last year, Kia introduced the new generation of gasoline engines with direct injection. For its updated novelty, the auto manufacturer has offered a 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter powertrain. The 2015-updated version is available with a smaller GDI unit producing the output of 130 horsepower with the torque of 118 lb-ft and the 2.0-liter engine issuing 164 horsepower and the torque of 151 lb-ft as well. The gearbox will depend on the engine; the smaller 1.6-liter engine will work with a five-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic one, while the second more powerful unit will get the six-speed automatic gearbox.
