Kia is cutting costs on the Kia K900
The luxury sedan Kia K900 has appeared on the auto market. That full-sized model is equipped with the V8. However, the auto manufacturer are feeling some troubles is the selling of that sedan as well.
The price of the K900 was about 60,000 dollars, quite expensive. For instance, last year, the Korean automaker sold only 1,330 vehicles. Thus, the carmaker has made decision to drop some costs for that model.
The auto manufacturer dropped prices for the car at the expense some additional and premium features and details. For instance, the basic version of the K900 dropped to 55,400 dollars. The car has lost Nappa leather with chrome trim, 17-speakers audio system and LED headlights.
However, if you want to have all these additional features back, you will have to pay 60,800 dollars for the Luxury trim.
Note, you may also afford to buy some luxury models of Japanese or German auto manufacturers for the similar pricing.
What about the powertrain. The Kia K900 is equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 engine, which is able to produce the output of 420 horsepower. The car gets the rear-wheel-drive, but the vehicle may be also offered with all-wheel-drive.
Inside, there is enough space in the cabin, owing to it; the K900 may meet competition with some similar models of Mercedes, Lexus, BMW and Audi.
The Kia auto manufacturer is going to make its K900 to be a flagship car; according to optional features, powertrain’s characteristics, technologies, systems and others.
