NHTSA investigating Ford F-150 brake failures
1011
The National Highway Traffic Safety Management is trading reviews of energy brake aid problems in last-era Ford F-150s.
The problem has to date been documented on 2011 and 2012 versions using the EcoBoost, double-turbocharged V6. Grievances claim the machine help push fails, leading to somewhat improved braking work. Two on-highway incidents have now been documented by homeowners who submitted grievances.
In line with the client grievances, the problems aren't documented from the f 150is on board diagnostic methods, providing motorists no caution regarding the upcoming situation.
When the deficiency is located to become legitimate, it might influence as much as 250,000 cars. Honda is cooperating using the company and may issue a recognition whether it's proven the component is faulty and in the base of the problem.
