New Jaguar XF will come in 2016
In 2009, Jaguar launched its luxury XF, which got the all-wheel-drive and some new features last year.
Now the auto manufacturer is ready to introduce the updated sedan that will come into the market in 2016. However, this time the renewed Jaguar is being developed.
The novelty looks a little bit longer and wider than the current XF is. The front wheels base is widened, fender flares are extended. A prototype gets two exhaust pipes, which are located close to the center part of the rear bumper.
The upgraded XF will be based on the iQ platform but the vehicle is expected to be stretched a bit. This modular was presented in the C-X17 concept at the show in Frankfurt this year.
Unfortunately, we cannot give details according to the future powertrain in the Jaguar’s novelty. Nevertheless, we consider that the renewed car will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo charged engine. Besides, the carmaker probably will offer a V6 supercharged engine and eight-cylinder unit too.
The new XF will be available with gasoline, diesel powertrains and even hybrid as well. The customers will have an opportunity to order the all-wheel-drive version.
