Subaru presents the Forester tS STI for the local auto market
The Japanese auto manufacturer Subaru has recently presented the Forester equipped with the STI update. Certainly, it is not about the updated STI version of the well-known Forester as well as the Impreza WRX STI but it is only a part of the STI tunned updates.
The updated version of the Forester will be named tS and offered for the local market only.
Besides, the new tS variant gets the new adjustable strut tower, lowered suspension, 17-inch Brembo braking discs all four wheels and the new 19-inch alloy BBS wheels as well.
The tS version is equipped with the powertrain of the Forester 2.0XT, which produces the output of 250 horsepower. The novelty gets the brand’s CVT Lineartronic gearbox.
Outside, the car gets the new custom grille, muffler, new spoilers at both ends. The interior includes new sporty seats, STI central display screen and the black trim with contrast stitching.
The novelty is available in Japan since today. According to the carmaker, only 300 vehicles are planned to be launched. The price of the updated Forester is expected from about 36,850 dollars.
