The new crossover of Jaguar is coming soon
Do you remember the future Jaguar crossover built on the C-X17 concept, which was introduced at the auto show in Frankfurt this year? Sure, you do! You could not forget it! The auto manufacturer plans to enter the crossovers’ segment where the Mercedes GLK-class and the BMW X3 have already been. However, the main difference of the novelty from Jaguar is the perfect dynamic and the fuel efficiency due to using a new aluminum constructor.
Besides, the carmaker plans to launch three models based on the C-X17 concept. There will be a wagon “Sportbrake”, the XF of the next generation and a new crossover.
This lightweight constructor is used in the Range Rover SUV. The premium architecture is light and really rigid. Jaguar is working on development to equip new models with different powertrains such as diesel, hybrid and electric.
We have not still enough information what type of engines will be put into the novelty. Meanwhile, there are reasons to suggest that cars will get a four-cylinder gasoline or diesel engines.
We hope the auto manufacturer will not miss its favorite 3.0-liter V6. Please we should not expect V8 engines, as you know the carmaker does not prefer large engines. The gearbox is planned to be eight-speed automatic as standard. The novelty may be the rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive.
Jaguar is going to start launching of the new crossover in a year, and the novelty will come on the market as a model of 2016.
