2014 Cadillac ELR - how and when?
Next January the new Cadillac ELR will come in the auto market in the United States. This electric car is planned to cost 75,995 dollars.
As you remember, the novelty is based on well-known Chevy Volt hybrid. According to it, the registered ELR customers will be able to buy the electric novelty just for 68,495 dollars.
The new ELR has a 1.4-liter gas engine and the16.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that has T-shape. Cadillac promises that the car can move about 35 miles on highways using only electric motor.
The auto manufacturer offers its customers the additional battery service during the guarantee period.
The novelty has the navigation system, lane departure warning, forward collision alert and the regen on demand feature. Besides, the car gets LED rear and front lightening.
The new Cadillac has next driving modes: Touring, Sport and Mountain that allows keeping charged battery in off-road conditions. In addition, there is the Hold mode –the drivers’ choice to use a gas engine or an electric motor.
