A new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
We would like to present you the first secret pictures of an updated CLS-Class model, which will be introduced by the Mercedes-Benz Company. The new generation of the CLS includes a sedan and a Shooting Brake wagon that was presented in 2012 but now it is being waiting for some updates.
Recently the Mercedes brand has presented its new vehicles of the E-class for 2014 and we will see new cars of the S-Class and C-Class at dealers soon. Besides, the Mercedes-Benz does not want to be backward of producing its CLS models and that is why designers try keeping the CLS-Class vehicles to be renewed on time.
According to pictures, the new CLS will get a new grille, bumpers and redesigned headlights.
The interior of the CLS car will have some updates and technology used in the latest S-Class models. There will be the mbrace2 infotainment system, the Magic Body Control system, the new Distronic Plus cruise control, Steering Assist, Cross-Traffic Assist, and the Pre-Safe brake systems.
The CLS 550 will be updated with a 4.6-liter 8-V twin-turbocharged engine. But the CLS63 AMG model will not get any changes in engines.
New Mercedes models will be equipped with the 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic gearbox in place of the seven-speed one which using in the CLS-Class cars now. The 9G-TRONIC will be more fuel efficient. However, AMG models will be remained with a seven-speed transmission.
The renewed CLS model are expected in the middle of next year. Nevertheless, unfortunately the CLS Shooting Brake has not been attractive to the American customers yet.
