A new electric Mercedes model costs 41,450 dollars
This year Mercedes-Benz introduced its electric B-class car, which is a main rival to the BMW i3. After announcing the price of 41,450 dollars, the auto manufacturer added that in comparison with the i3, the Mercedes car does not have the carbon fiber construction.
The electrical car is equipped with the electric motor producing the power of 177 horsepower. Due to the 28-kilowatt-hour battery, the car is able to drive nearby 85 miles without additional charging. Moreover, the electric car can accelerates from 0 mph to 60 mph in just 7.9 seconds. The maximum speed is 100 mph but it is also electrically limited.
This vehicle is very convenient and easy in charging. It may be charged even by a standard domestic power socket of 240-volt; charging only during two hours, the car is able to go about 60miles then.
The basic package of this electric car includes the brand’s equipment, the navigation system, modern safety system and the infotainment with the 5.8-inch color display; brake assist and parking assist systems.
Moreover, using a smartphone or a PC, an owner is able to check some car’s metrics over Internet.
In the United States, the electric B-class comes on sale this summer, but other countries and markets will meet this novelty not earlier than by the end of the year.
