A prototype Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman of the 2016 model year has been noticed
A mule of the new Mercedes’s extra-long sedan S-class has been recently noticed. Certainly, the prototype does not show most details as well as the interior. However, the new Pullman will be sold for the price, which is higher twice than the famous Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The new S-class Pullman that is expected as a car of 2016 model year is the second vehicle of the luxury sub-brand of Mercedes-Maybach.
The S600 Pullman is equipped with the 6.0-liter V12 twin turbocharged engine, which is able to produce the output of 523 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of the torque.
In spite of the prototype is wearing the camouflage, we has noticed some significant details in the design. The novelty may be with six doors, but the four-door variant will be also available.
The Mercedes’s partner Brabus is responsible for the armor protection of the car.
The novelty is planned to be the final sixth version of the S-class, which will be also offered in standard variants. For instance, the potential customers in the U.S. will be offered the long-wheelbase, convertible and coupe and standard sedan versions.
Owing to all technical features and the high level of the armor protection, the S600 Pullman may become the most expensive sedan in the world for the prices reaching towards about 1 million dollars. To compare, the expensive Rolls-Royce Phantom costs starting 400k dollars as well.
There are the seats arrangement 2+2+2, where four seats are faced to each other inside.
The novelty is oriented to presidents and other wealthy people.
The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman of the 2016 model year will be officially introduced at the Geneva auto show in March.
