Alfa Romeo has declared prices for 2015 models
Great ovation! The Italian automaker Alfa Romeo came back to the U.S. Recently, the manufacturer announced models and prices for the U.S. auto market.
According to Alfa Romeo, there will be 82 dealer showrooms in 33 states in the U.S. Most dealers are planned in Florida, Texas and, surely, California –places with the biggest concentration. To compare, in Canada there will be only four dealer showrooms.
The first model, which will be brought into the U.S. until the end of this year is the Alfa Romeo 4C of 2015 model year. The carmaker plans to deliver just 500 cars of this Limited edition. The price for this model is expected to be from over 69,600 dollars. While the regular Alfa Romeo 4C costs from 55,195 dollars.
Moreover, as we know that the Americans model always weigh heavier than their European brothers; that is why the 4C will weigh about 342 pounds more. As a result, the total weight of the car will be about 2,500 pounds.
The extra weight is conditioned by using thicker carbon fiber tuber according to the U.S. standards of safety.
Unfortunately, currently, we have no details about powertrains or gearboxes. But it is known that this model is able to accelerates from 0 mph to 60 mph in 4 seconds; the maximum speed is 160 mph.
