Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is preparing for the Geneva auto show
Recently, Aston Martin has revealed a new teaser of its new model, which has to appear at the auto show in Geneva this year.
The auto manufacturer is preparing to show the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, which will meet the competition with the supercars such as Ferrari, Porsche, Dodge and Chevrolet. The novelty will be the road version of the well-known racecar.
You see, the previous rumors about the Aston Martin’s novelty have come true.
The new model will be probably equipped with the V12 engine, borrowed from the Vantage S. That powertrain produces the output of 565 horsepower.
According to the teaser, we may notice some elements of the racecar –the new aggressive bumper in the front, the large back wing and a quite wider track in comparison with the production road version. Surely, the novelty will be built using lightweight materials, which allow reducing the vehicle’s weight. There will be some carbon fiber elements, light alloy wheels and the titanium exhaust system.
Owing to the powertrain used in the Vantage S version, the novelty will be able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds; the maximum speed is 205 mph.
However, if we image the Vantage GT3 will be boosted to 600 horsepower of the output, it will be able to meet the competition with the Dodge Viper SRT TA, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3 as well.
Certainly, the auto manufacturer has not declared pricing yet, it will be probably about 184,995 dollars for a basic version.
We will be able to share more information with you, when there is the official debut at the Geneva auto show this March.
