Audi presents its TT off-road concept in Beijing

At the Beijing auto show the Audi auto manufacturer has introduced its new concept car, which is built on the Audi TT sports model presented as a car of 2016 model year. This concept car gets four doors, high clearance and four individual seats.
The TT Off-road concept is based on the Volkswagen MQB platform that used in some models of this German auto manufacturer.
In addition, the concept car has borrowed the infotainment system with 12.3-incg display behind the steering wheel; that system includes tachometer and speedometer as well.
The off-road concept is equipped with a hybrid powertrain includes the 2.0-liter engine TFSI and two electric motors. This complete powertrain gives the output of 408 horsepower and the torque of 479 lb-ft. The gearbox is the six-speed S-tronic with dual-clutch.
Currently, the TT is considered as a rival for the BMW X4 and Range Rover Evoque. However, probably, the carmaker will rename this car for the Q4, which enters the lineup between the Q5 and Q3 cars.
