BMW is reducing annual labor costs
The official representative of BMW has recently announced plans of the German carmaker to reduce annual labor costs by 136 million dollars.
As a result of this saving, the auto manufacturer will analyzes Bavarian’s plants, which might be economically attractive for launching new cars of the BMW brand in the future.
It is well known, BMW is the best-selling premium brand in the world. It annually spends millions to invest to development and production of new models and regular vehicles. Owing to this investment, BMW stays ahead of competitors as Mercedes and Audi as well.
The BMW’s active policy are focused on reaching of record sales this year.
Two month ago, the auto manufacturer declared its plans to invest about one billion dollars to the brand’s plant expanding in Spartanburg (the U.S.). The carmaker plans to increase number of jobs to 8,800. And that is global plan has to be done for two years (by 2016).
In addition, BMW said that the company regularly discuss with the brand’s workers' council about where and which car to build and what is better on variety sites.
