Buick Cascada cabrio will be presented at the Detroit auto show
Finally, Buick is ready to present its new convertible ultra-chic model Cascada at the auto show in Detroit next week. The presented Buick Cascada version is quite similar to its variant sold in the Europeans countries.
The novelty comes on the auto market as a car of 2016 model year. It is the first convertible model of the auto manufacturer for the 25-year history.
The main accents which are in the Cascada, there are the new sophisticated suspension, the 2+2 seating feature, it takes just 17 seconds to fold the roof, the powertrain is the four-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing the output of 200 horsepower.
The novelty is based on the Delta II platform used in compact vehicles of the General Motors includes the Buick Verano.
More details about the powertrain. The Cascada is equipped with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is able to issue the output of 200 horsepower and the torque of 206 lb-ft. That powertrain works with the six-speed automatic gearbox. The car is offered with the front-wheel-drive and standard 20-inch wheels as well.
Inside, the car is equipped with the improved safety system, the rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, back park assist and lane departure warning system. Moreover, the car gets the brand’s infotainment system IntelliLink, the OnStar 4G LTE and the Wi-Fi hotspot. The heating is available for the steering wheel and front seats.
Currently, the automaker has not announced prices for the new Buick Cascada yet. That information will be known soon before the car’s launching.
