Cadillac CT6: What the critics think
The 2016 CT6 is Cadillac's response to the big, rear wheel drive luxury sedans from Germany that have mastered the little and fading section for a long time. Some American entries have neglected to compete in the section, but Cadillac guarantees it did its research using the CT6. Here's what some critics among others are saying regarding the sedan that debuted last week in the Ny auto show.
"It is never been more difficult [to restore a superior automobile section]. It is likely to take fantastic money and time. I am maybe not declaring it can not function, but there is lots of ethnic inertia behind Cadillac, and there is a tremendous amount of opposition from the German auto-industry that is becoming even more competitive. There is maybe not likely to be any fast win. ... Cadillac is promoting the conventional metrics of automotive superiority, which are layout, engineering and operation. That is what they have been performing for the previous 100 years. That is maybe not actually daring. Avant-Garde is having a robot push you."
