Do you remember 2008, when the Cadillac CTS-V just came on the auto market? The car producing the output of 556 horsepower was able to compete with only the Mercedes and Lexus high performance cars.
However, the automaker is preparing to introduce the updated CTS-V, which will be presented at the auto show in Detroit next month. The novelty will be equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 LT4 supercharged engine, which produces the output of 640 horsepower and the torque of 630 lb-ft. it will be more powerful than the Mercedes E63 with the output of 577 horsepower and the BMW M5 issuing 575 horsepower.
The new powertrain will able to accelerate the car from 0 mph to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. The drive is expected only rear-wheel as well. The new Cadillac’s model gets the eight-speed 8L90 automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
There is the new carbon fiber hood; Brembo brakes the magnetic ride control suspension of the third generation and other control systems as some main additional updates.
We would like sharing more details and fresh information about the novelty with you. But we should wait for the official debut of the car, which takes place in Detroit next January.
