Cadillac has started a new prices strategy
As the official representative Cadillac said, the auto manufacturer has aimed the new pricing strategy, which includes dropping prices for some models and good offerings in spite of the quite slow selling.
Meanwhile, Cadillac is trying to take back its status of the premier luxury brand and that is why the next part of the new pricing strategy includes increasing prices for some models to compare with some vehicles produced by the German automakers.
Last year, Cadillac selling reduced by 6.5 percent to 170,750 cars in the U.S. market. However, the total segment of the luxury cars in the world grew up 6 percent.
The carmaker has announced new prices, which will be dropped from 1,000 to 3,000 dollars depending on a model and a trim.
For instance, the new CTS of 2015 model year will not be changed -46,340 dollars; its top version CTS Vsport will have the same price -71,880 dollars. While the four-cylinder version fo the latest CTS Performance collection has become cheaper by 2,000 dollars to 56,665 dollars; the same model equipped with the V6 powertrain has become cheaper by 3,000 dollars to cost 62,765 dollars.
