Cadillac to provide new twin-turbo V-6 on XTS for 2014
DETROIT -- Cadillac is adding a fresh 410-hp, twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 engine being an choice on the XTS sedan for 2014.
General Motors introduced the engine back in March, confirming that it will be an on the new-for-2014 Cadillac CTS, and recent Cadillac media materials ensure that the engine option will be extended towards the XTS.
The all-aluminum motor utilizes direct-injection technology and could be the highest-output V-6 in GM history.
The XTS will continue to be provided in luxury, standard, premium and jewelry trims. Cadillac would not ensure pricing for 2014, however the 2013 base type posesses $44,995 price after delivery costs.
