California mother found dead in car days after disappearance

MONROVIA, California -- The body of a mom of 2 who went missing a week ago was discovered in her vehicle Tuesday, about a mile from her house, reports CBS Los Angeles.Cops consider LaJoya McCoy's departure to be funny and so are inquiring. Pals say the 31-year old former accountant and proprietor of a clothes shop had no enemies, and had a great connection along with her children's dad. But workers of the shop next to Joya Boutique, McCoy's retailer, advised CBS Los Angeles these were were perplexed when lately she suddenly quit showing up for work, and a "for lease" sign appeared in the window. At a vigil Tuesday, McCoy's buddy Tangala Alfred Gentles informed reporters McCoy's family is fighting to handle her departure."Our youngsters aren't likely to go before us, these are our our kids," Gentles stated.
