Chevrolet is testing its new Cruze model
As we are able to remember, last year the Chevrolet carmaker tested its new prototype of the Cruze next generation. However, this year we have gotten the opportunity to look at the Cruze, which was tested in China. According to presumable information, firstly we will see the novelty at the auto show in Beijing this year.
The auto manufacturer plans to begin selling the new Cruze in the Chinese auto market from the second half of this year. Now we have no information the novelty will come on the U.S. market or not.
The new generation of the Cruze model becomes longer but gets smoother lines in the exterior design. In addition, the novelty has headlight, which are quite similar to the renewed Ford Focus that is presented as a model of 2015.
The General Motors says that this novelty will be equipped with the brand’s new engine Ecotec especially for the Chinese market. The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze will be offered with the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing the output of 113 horsepower and the 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbo engine issuing the power of 148 horsepower.
The updated Cruze version is based on the modern platform Delta II, which is also called D2XX.
