How they did: April performance vs. industry

With April in-the-bag, it is time to time to have a look at the way the producers when compared with the industry norm. In this month's episode, we are determined to simplify and add lightness. Business sales rose just by under 5% in April, a noticeable advancement over March. With maybe the exception of Chrysler (+26%), the greatest winners in April were manufacturing companies with strong SUV, CUV and truck lines. Jeep, GMC and Subaru cruised to large finishes. Breaking with all the routine were Ram, Chevy and Toyota, who all finished up vs. April, 2014, but did not do better than the sector as a whole despite powerful large car choices. Dodge, nonetheless damaging on paper on account of discontinued merchandise, ended well below the water line. Highlights: Chrysler (+26.1%), Cadillac (+13.7%), Mazda (+7.5%)
