Hyundai Sonata at the New York show
The Korean auto manufacturer rolls its 2015 Sonata at the New York show.
First the 2015 Hyundai Sonata was noticed in Korea, but this week this model appeared in New York.
The Hyundai carmaker continues entering the segment, where the top place is taken by the Toyota Camry. However, now we are able to notice some changes there when this segment was filled by the Honda Accord, Ford Fusion and Chrysler 200 as well.
The novelty became longer by 35 mm and wider by 30 mm; according to the carmakers’ statement, it helps to increase space inside of a car.
In addition, the novelty gets more new technical features such as the active cruise control, lane departure warning and blind spot detection assist.
The latest Sonata is equipped with two powertrains to choose from. The car is available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and 2.5-liter unit. Both versions get the standard six-speed automatic gearbox.
