Inadvertent braking sparks Jeep Grand Cherokee investigation
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee is under investigation for possible issues using its automated braking program.
The Nhtsa has obtained at least nine charges of improper and sudden intervention of the automated braking program. "All nine reviews so-called unforeseen braking events preceded by crash at hand brake cautions and resulting in abrupt decrease in vehicle speed in visitors," the investigation records note. Several of the criticisms assert the sovereign braking system participated with no things in the street, leading to total brake pressure and ABS activation."Crash avoidance system participates for no security reason whatsoever. I will function as the sole vehicle on the highway , which may happen," one criticism says. "Continues to be occurring intermittently every single day the car is driven."The NHTSA is currently taking a closer look at the problem to find out if a deeper investigation or recall are justified.
