J.D. Power initial quality study: Korean brands gain

Korean manufacturers Hyundai and Kia completed close to the very top of the 2015 J.D. Power First Quality study released today, while Japanese manufacturers put together dropped below the industry norm for the first time ever. Speech recognition and Blue Tooth pairing with smartphones as well as other apparatus were particularly difficult. The Power analyzers project that speech recognition will remain an problem, with 67% of new-car owners surveyed saying that they had a speech recognition now -- compared with 5 7% a couple of years back.
