Karma Automotive Ties Up With BMW For Electric Drive Technology
The automotive manufacturing company formerly called Fisker Automotive lately switched its title to Karma and, seemingly, is getting down to business.
Having assured a plug in hybrid as early as 2016, it's declared it has formed a partnership with BMW regarding electrical drive and charging techniques engineering.
The Chinese-owned manufacturer needs to reduce the development time and prices of the recent high-end sedan by "borrowing" the German's manufacturers experience. "Car companies purchase components from some other carmakers, particularly in high-priced areas like power-train technology", Karma's CMO, Jim Taylor, advised Automotive information.
