Lamborghini promises Aventador Superveloce roadster
Lamborghini has supported plans to create a roadster variant of its Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce.
Unveiled lately in Geneva, the Superveloce coupe has sold from its small production run. The bundle boasts an up-rated 6.5-liter V-12 engine, tuned to create 750 hp and over 500 500 lb-feet of torque, while curb weight has been decreased by about 110 pounds. "The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the most pure, athletics-oriented and mental embodiment of a Lamborghini, and all 600 models are sold, with first deliveries beginning now," stated Lamborghini leader Stephan Winkelmann. The extra energy enables the hardtop to achieve 62 mph in only 2.8 seconds, somewhat quicker than the 'fundamental' Aventador LP 700-4. It's uncertain if the Aventador SV Roadster provides a noticeable performance penalty as a result of an increased curb weight, although it should keep the same 217 miles per hour top velocity as its siblings. The firm has already been taking orders for the SV convertible, which is restricted to some run of only 500 units. Pricing will probably be north of $500,000, presumably controlling a substantial premium over the $489,600 hard-top version. Live pictures by Ronan Glon.
