Mercedes introduced its B-class
Recently the Mercedes carmaker brought its B-class in the U.S. In Canada, the auto manufacturer sells its gasoline version of compact MPV for several years. But the U.S. customers get the opportunity to have the new electric version of the MPV. Besides the electrical powertrain, the U.S. MPV gets new 17-inch wheels.
The automaker has announced prices and the electric B-class begins at 42,375 dollars. The first selling starts in July.
The novelty is offered with a few packs. The Range pack includes 85 miles of electrical driving and 17 miles extra. The carmaker uses the special charging system –before charging you need just press a button to increase the top level of charging the battery.
The second interesting Interior pack includes leather trim, the HD radio receiver, the interior lightening, hands-free interface system, heated fronts seats with the memory in 14 ways, the Harman/Kordon LOGIC7 audio system. Certainly, there is a rearview camera, the navifaction system including the 7-inch display.
The safety system of this novelty includes the system of adaptive braking, collision-prevention assist, rain-sensing wipers. The Range pack includes the heated windshield by electrically.
When Mercedes brings its electrical B-class to the U.S., the model will be available in ten states including the Vermont and Rhode Island.
In addition, the carmaker plans to sell the electrical B-class in other states by the upcoming year.
