NHTSA calls on dealers to voluntarily fix recalled used cars

The Nhtsa has called on sellers, especially of utilized vehicles, to start pitching in to greatly help enhance recall repair rates.

The National Automobile Dealers Association has required the authorities to differentiate between significant and minor recalls, to prevent 'grounding' leases or used cars which can be influenced by comparatively benign conformity problems."The more pro-active we all are, the more lives we could save," Rosekind included.
