The Nhtsa has closed an investigation into stalling issues with old Fiat Chrysler mini-vans.
The bureau has obtained at least 161 grievances related to stalling cases using the 2003-2007 Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Voyager. Some proprietors maintained the autos would stall promptly following a re-fuel, and at reduced motor rates."After finishing this assessment, NHTSA has concluded that additional investigation is not likely to to bring about a finding that the flaw associated with automobile safety exists," the company wrote in it close files. Investigators explain the failure rate is reduced, despite 8 to 13 years of automobile support, and not one of the criticisms have attributed the problem for creating an accident or trauma."Provided the requirement to allocate and prioritize NHTSA's limited resources to best execute the Agency's security mission, the request is refused," the bureau added. Newer Fiat-Chrysler mini-vans and sport utility vehicles still face another investigation in to allegations of stalling issues. Read Source
