New Audi A3 Cabrio on his way to Frankfurt

The Audi auto manufacturer decided to introduce its new model and take a place in a convertible segment with its last Audi A3.

We will see the novelty at the Frankfurt Motor show next week. This cabriolet is a well-timed addition to a five-door Sport back and sedans, which have already obtain the recognition of customers in the world.
According to a fact that convertible models are becoming more and more popular, the Audi brand made decision to launch the next generation of brand’s cabrio A3.
The novelty became bigger, its length is 4,419.6 mm; owing to it there is more space inside of a car and the trunk is much bigger than it was before. Besides, the new model got 19-inched wheels.
The convertible A3 is not different completely from the previous A3 cars, launching in 2015. The cabrio is based on the MQB platform of the Volkswagen, which uses this flexible platform for its own Golf models and others Audi A3.
The auto manufacturer used the Volkswagen platform for its car to reduce the weight. So, the novelty weigh less than other models by 110 pounds. Besides, the lightweight car is the one of main preconditions of the fuel-efficient.
The automated soft top folds only in 18 seconds also if a car goes with speed of 31 mph. there is a glass window on the rear part of the roof, which is available with some colors, but the black top as standard.
The car is equipped with the rollover protective system that protecting a driver and passengers with rollover accidents.
The interior is made of leather, there are round dials and air vents, which look great inside of a car and are to customers’ taste. You will not remain indifferent to the best brand’s interface system MMI.
Well, we should not forget to talk about the power plant. The convertible Audi will be equipped with following types of engines: a 1.4-liter TFSI, producing 140 horsepower, a 1.8-liter TFSI with the output of 180 horsepower and, according to the carmaker statement, there will be a 2.0-liter TDI with the power of 150 horsepower. The car is available with the six-speed manual or seven-speed S-tronic gearboxes.
The novelty is expected to come on sale in Europe this autumn. Other information will be known soon, at the Frankfurt Motor show.
