New Honda CEO doesn't own a car is holding out for the Civic Type R
Honda's recently anointed CEO Takahiro Hachigo does not even possess a vehicle, but there is a a really good purpose for that: he is waiting for the new Civic Type R.
Hachigo, who last month took over the business from former president and CEO Takanobu Ito, has sworn to "create a fresh Honda" by invigorating the organization 's line with exciting new choices. A self-avowed auto enthusiast, Hachigo h AS said he want to concentrate on goods instead of pursuing sales numbers.
It seems he will even put his money where his mouth is. When requested by members of the Japanese press lately the type of car he possesses, Hachigo declared that while he does not yet have one, although his spouse drives a Honda None super-compact city-car ended in red-and-black two tone. Hachigo himself retains a Honda VTR250 bike in the garage, but is waiting for the next generation Civic Type-R to start creation so he is able to add one to his garage.
The Civic Type-R is the coming 300hp compact that can restore the legendary Type-R moniker, a longtime identifier of top level operation Hondas. Close-to-generation models have maintained the quickest lap times to get a front wheel drive automobile on the Nurburgring racetrack. Notably, the newest Civic Type R is going to be visiting the United States for the very first time in the product almost two decades in creation.
