It is the second generation of the Ecosport, which was built about ten years ago. The auto manufacturer used the platform of Fiesta model for this CUV. This small universal city crossover attracts due to its appearance and fuel economy engines. The Ecosport may be equipped with a 1.0-liter diesel engine and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, consuming from 37 to 53 miles per gallon. The three-cylinder 1.0-liter engine of this small CUV is available to produce to 118 horsepower.
The Ford Ecosport is front-wheel-drive, but you may choose the four-wheel-drive at will.
Sometimes there are really bad roads in the city. This small but tall crossover has a ground clearance of 208.28 mm that allows climbing curbs easily. Do not forget about 15 or 16-inch wheels, which let you drive wherever you want without any inconvenience.
The Ecosport has the length of 3 987.8 mm, that is shorter than the Ford Focus hatchback by 355.6 mm. But the CUV is taller than the three-door model of Range Rover Evoque by 101.6 mm.
In the first place, the Ecosport orients for developing countries, but it does not mean that it is out of luxury. The small CUV is available in several trims, which differ in equipment and levels. The highest level will be offered with leather seats.
The price of Ecosport is from 17,000 to 22,000 dollars, depending on trims in the South Africa.
