Renault plans to expand its Morocco plant to increase production of Dacia

According to the official statement of the Renault brand, the auto manufacturer is going to expand launching of Dacia in the Tangier plant (Morocco). It is connected with the growing of demand for Sandero in the European market.
Subcompact cars are bestsellers in Europe; for eight months sales of Dacia increased by 59 percent. Dacia Sandero and Sandero Stepway models will be launched at this factory.
The Renault Company plans to go up the Dacia production to 340,000 vehicle per year by next year. About 90 percent of cars will be sold in the European auto markets.
Besides, the expanding of this factory will allow hiring 1,400 employees more, who will work by relays.
However, the Dacia brand continues to launch its Sandero at the Pitesti plant (Romania) that has the capacity of 400,000 cars per year.
