SAAB News: NEVS Announces Two New Chinese Partners, Second Factory
NEVS is nevertheless having problem restarting Saab, and and even though it did make several automobiles, those neither indicated the beginning of creation nor the promised swap to completely-electrical automobiles.
Well, now, NEVS is declaring it's shacked up with two strategic partners from China, and it is previously announced plans to start a second manufacturing facility.
The plant will run in the coastal Chinese city of Tianjin, as that is the residence of the primary strategic companion, Tianjin Binhai Hitech industrial Improvement Location (THT). Second associate is the Beijing State Study It Co., Ltd. (SRIT).
The latter is a "a groundbreaking IT support provider owned by China's Study Improvement Middle of the State Council, as well as the telecommunications giant China Unicom."
Lower down in the press blurb, they say "the first auto which is made in the plant in Tianjin is an electrical automobile based on Nevs' engineering, accompanied by with a diversified EV and portfolio of battery-electric vehicles and EVs centered on Nevs' new created automobile design."
We'll consider it when we see it...
