A uncommon summer thunderstorm enabled fire fighters to comprise 60% of a wildfire that swept across a California interstate highway, torching vehicles and sending people running for their lives.
Light rain and damp atmosphere dampened the blaze in the mountainous Cajon Move 55 miles north-east of La, the principal artery between Southern-California and Vegas.
