Subaru rolls in new Outback for the New York auto show.
Just a few month ago, the auto manufacturer presented its renewed Subaru Legacy at the Chicago show and current the carmaker has already introduced its Subaru Outback, which will be available in show rooms this summer. The novelty, which we present to you gets renewed look and updated powertrain as well.
The exterior of the Outback is similar to the new Legacy model, there are no differences in a grille form, hood and side mirrors.
The novelty will be offered with two powertrains: the first one is the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing the output of 175 horsepower with the torque of 174 lb-ft; the second unit is the 3.6-liter six-cylinder, which power is 256 horsepower and the torque of 247 lb-ft as well.
The interior includes many modern technical features such as the brand’s Star Link with Aha and Pandora integration, the Bluetooth connectivity, a rear view camera, satellite radio, USB ports and many other options, which make our life easier and more convenient.
Moreover, the carmaker worked on improving the safety system of the car. There is the brand’s EyeSight system; cameras detecting objects include pedestrians, radar system with blind spot detection, cross traffic alert etc.
