The auto manufacturer’s representative said it after the presentation a new sedan that is presented in Russia as a revived brand Datsun.
As we may remember, the Nissan carmaker stopped launching the Datsun brand in Russia in 1981; however, nowadays, the carmaker makes decision to return this small brand on the Russian auto market.
Moreover, besides Russia, Nissan plans to bring its Datsun into developing countries such as India, South Africa and Indonesia. That is a real chance for Nissan to attract young potential buyers to cheap small cars from the market of used cars.
Russia is attractive for the auto manufacturer due to its developing and growing middle class whose incomes are increasing and as a result, people are able to buy a new vehicle.
