The latest Dodge Challenger will get updating in power
The Dodge auto manufacturer is ready to introduce its updated Challenger of 2015 model year, which will be upgraded in power. According to the carmaker, the novelty will be equipped with the additional V8 HEMI supercharged engine.
Moreover, customers do not need to order additionally or look for a more powerful version. Currently all new models will be come on the auto market with the V8 powertrain.
Both the Challenger R/T equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine and the present Challenger SRT with a 6.4-liter V8 unit will get more power. The R/T model will produce the output of 375 horsepower and the SRT model will be able to issue the power of 470 horsepower. Comparing with the V6 Challenger that produces 305 horsepower as well.
Now you may start asking about a transmission. As we know, the novelty will be equipped with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. However, the 2015 Challenger will be also offered with the new eight-speed automatic.
Meanwhile, the auto manufacturer believes to produce a more powerful car then the V10 SRT Viper model producing the power of 640 horsepower.
However, we will get more information and fresh details when there will be an official debut of the Dodge’s novelty by the end of this year.
